Our Mission
Sammie's Toy Drive is a specialized toy drive for communities struck by tragedy affecting kids and teens. Instead of providing assistance to the community at ground zero, we deliver the items once people who were not affected have moved on. News patterns do not match with the stages of grief. Our goal is to bring joy and comfort to children who have gone through traumatic experiences and let them know that they are not forgotten.

How We Use Donations
Donations can be used in
many ways. A donation of a physical item will be stored and then sent to a community in need around a year following the tragedy. A donation of funds will be spent on items to be sent to the community after connecting with community members to see what they are in need of.

Sammie's Toy Drive has been recognized in the Uvalde Leader News, the Uvalde Hesperian, Yahoo! News, BNN, MSN, KSHB41 news, KMBC9 news, Fox4 news, KSAT12 news and KENS5 news. While in Uvalde for the first toy drive event, Sammie was given an award by the Uvalde DAR chapter.
